It all coordinates with the amp and you can scroll through sound banks, make user presets, or use the Tuner from the FBV. I have thoroughly enjoyed this board. It's an indispensable addition to my Line 6 Spider V. Combined with a Spider V 120, this board is literally worth it's weight in gold. The construction is sturdy steel , and the effects buttons are brightly-lit, making it easy to see which effects are on or off even in low light. Its 13-button interface is color coordinated to offer intuitive use and easy recall of your favorite sounds and presets. Possibly the best part is the looper function on some of the Spiders that are controlled by this. An additional jack allows for an additional expression pedal. Hit the green footswitch. I would definitely recommend this board to a friend. It is like having an entire pedal board. Love their customer service team.

Its 13-button interface is color coordinated to offer intuitive use and easy recall of your favorite sounds and presets. An additional jack allows for an additional expression pedal. You'll be able to monitor all of your changes via a 20-digit display. And the FBV 3 Pro Foot Controller is built from steel to be tour ready and very rugged. The Line 6 FBV 3 floor controller is the ideal way to unlock the full potential of your Line 6 amplifiers. This board is a must have, even if you only play at home. I was really impressed with the thoughtfulness of the design. The construction is sturdy steel , and the effects buttons are brightly-lit, making it easy to see which effects are on or off even in low light. The active preset name is displayed on an easy to read LCD screen. It comes with a long cat-5 cable, which also powers the board no extra power supply needed. The buttons are a little close together, but it didn't take me long to get used to that. I appreciate the compact size of the board, so it's a reasonable trade-off. Preset switching buttons are on the bottom row while effects switching buttons are on the row above it. Makes sense, since most of the common switching is between presets. Overall, I'm really impressed with the design and construction of this floor unit. It's an indispensable addition to my Line 6 Spider V. I would definitely recommend this board to a friend. I took the leap of faith and was not disappointed! It works wonderfully with my Spider IV 150 2X12 combo. I can use the quick loop function like a looper is supposed to work I. I had the Line 6 FBV Express for my Spider III 75 amp years ago. If these units were cars, the FBV Express would be a Fiat 500, and the FBV 3 would be a BMW M3! World's difference as far as quality, ease of use, and visual feedback. Not saying the FBV Express is a bad pedal, but this one feels sturdy and the switches are much more quiet. SO GLAD I bought this! It opens up a whole new world of functionality and convenience to the Spider amp series. Thanks Line 6 and Sweetwater!! Love their customer service team. Possibly the best part is the looper function on some of the Spiders that are controlled by this. Infinitely easier than doing it by hand. I have thoroughly enjoyed this board. I absolutely love this thing. It is like having an entire pedal board. The chord that came with it appears to be about 50 ft long. Even though I sit right next to my amp while playing I still use this rather than reaching for the dials. It organizes the 128 presets nicely for me.
