It's an indispensable addition to my Line 6 Spider V. Combined with a Spider V 120, this board is literally worth it's weight in gold. The construction is sturdy steel , and the effects buttons are brightly-lit, making it easy to see which effects are on or off even in low light. Its 13-button interface is color coordinated to offer intuitive use and easy recall of your favorite sounds and presets. Possibly the best part is the looper function on some of the Spiders that are controlled by this. An additional jack allows for an additional expression pedal. Hit the green footswitch. I would definitely recommend this board to a friend. It is like having an entire pedal board. Love their customer service team.
It is like having an entire pedal board. Not saying the FBV Express is a bad pedal, but this one feels sturdy and the switches are much more quiet. I have thoroughly enjoyed this board.

I was really impressed with the thoughtfulness of the design. The active preset name is displayed on an easy to read LCD screen. It comes with a long cat-5 cable, which also powers the board no extra power supply needed. The buttons are a little close together, but it didn't take me long to get used to that. I appreciate the compact size of the board, so it's a reasonable trade-off. Preset switching buttons are on the bottom row while effects switching buttons are on the row above it. Makes sense, since most of the common switching is between presets. I had the Line 6 FBV Express for my Spider III 75 amp years ago. If these units were cars, the FBV Express would be a Fiat 500, and the FBV 3 would be a BMW M3! World's difference as far as quality, ease of use, and visual feedback. Not saying the FBV Express is a bad pedal, but this one feels sturdy and the switches are much more quiet.
